This Privacy Policy describes how ChakkiBook, an application operated by LC Corporate ("we", "our", or "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). ChakkiBook is a ledger and bookkeeping app for flour mill (chakki) owners to manage customers and grinding transactions. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

To provide our services, we may collect the following information:

• Account information — your name, email address, and phone number, which you provide during registration and profile updates. Used to create and secure your account and to communicate with you.
• Contact information (optional) — when you tap "Add from Contacts" while adding a customer, the App requests read-only access to your device's contacts so you can select a contact. Only the name and phone number of the contact you choose are imported into the App. We do not read, upload, or store your entire contact list, and the App never modifies or writes to your contacts. If you do not use this feature, no contact data is accessed.
• Financial and transaction data — the App is a bookkeeping ledger. To provide its core function, it stores records you enter, including customer names, grinding transactions, amounts, rates, weights, dues and outstanding balances (udhaar), discounts, and payment status and history. This information is used solely to maintain your business records within the App and to keep them synced to your account.

We collect this information only when you voluntarily provide it or use the relevant feature.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To create, manage, and secure your account.
• To provide, operate, and maintain the App's bookkeeping and ledger features.
• To store and synchronize your customer and transaction records across your sessions and devices.
• To let you import a contact's name and number when adding a customer.
• To verify your identity and communicate with you regarding updates, support, and important notices.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal, contact, or financial information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

• With trusted service providers (such as our hosting and database providers) who process data on our behalf solely to operate the App, under strict confidentiality obligations.

Access to stored data is restricted, and account passwords are stored only in a hashed, non-reversible form.
